Despite this Gin being over 57% abv, it is as smooth as any other of the gins available at WD. And once again, smoother than any other gin I have ever tasted from any other distiller.

There is an obvious change in how it hits you compared to regular strength gin, but it really is a creeper rather than like hitting you in the face with a small mammal.

The botanical flavours once again are exquisite and the balance with the juniper is maintained, I sensed more juniper than normal which is no bad thing at all.

Stronger in this case does not mean that the finish results in 3rd degree burns to your oesophagus. Once again, I prefer to drink this straight, and it never disappoints.

I do not know how WD have created such a fine gin that is so far ahead of competitors that it is embarrassing.
